Creature Commandos Season 2 Set for Animated DCU Series

I’ve been following James Gunn’s work since his days with Guardians of the Galaxy, and seeing him bring his unique vision to the DC Universe has been a thrilling ride.

The second season of “Creature Commandos” has been confirmed, as Max has announced the renewal of the James Gunn DCU animated series for another season.

At this moment, details regarding the second season of “Creature Commandos” remain unknown, however, the fact that it’s currently airing its first season on Max and has already been renewed early suggests a strong positive response from viewers.

We’re thrilled to embark further on this adventure alongside Max, as more monsters are on their way for those who crave them!

James Gunn, a co-CEO at DC Studios, introduced Creature Commandos – our inaugural venture in the expanding and continuous DC Universe. Coming up next within this Universe is Gunn’s Superman, slated for release next year.

Creature Commandos follows a clandestine group of imprisoned monstrous beings, enlisted to carry out missions that are too risky for human hands. When all other choices have been exhausted… they’re your final, most dreadful choice.

In this show, we have Steve Agee portraying Economos, Maria Bakalova stepping into the role of Princess Ilana, Anya Chalotra playing Circe, Zoe Chao given the character Nina Mazursky, Frank Grillo taking on Rick Flag Sr., Sean Gunn handling both GI Robot and Weasel, David Harbour as the character Frankenstein, Alan Tudyk as Dr. Phosphorus, Indira Varma as The Bride, and Viola Davis cast as Amanda Waller.

DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation team up to create the series “Creature Commandos”. Additionally, Safran, Dean Lorey, Sam Register, and James Gunn take on the role of executive producers for this project. Rick Morales assumes the position of supervising producer.
