Could Station 19's Danielle Savre be playing Sir's relative in Found season 2? (Speculation)

As a gamer who’s weathered countless plot twists and cliffhangers, I can confidently say that Found Season 2 is shaping up to be a rollercoaster ride of emotions. The revelation of Gabi’s secret hostage situation with Sir, his kidnapping of Lacey, and the impending chaos at Mosely & Associates promises an enthralling start, “Missing While Bait.

Season 2 of the series we found is expected to be quite intense. It’s clear that trouble is brewing because Sir is back in action, and while everyone except Mark knows about Gabi keeping him hostage in her basement, his actions are bound to cause problems for Mosely & Associates. Additionally, Sir has taken Lacey captive. The season premiere, titled “Missing While Bait,” suggests that the firm will struggle due to Gabi’s actions. We can also expect Lacey’s past memories, particularly those involving her mother, Gina, to come back to light in this season.

Entertainment Weekly states that Gina will make an appearance in flashbacks following Gabi and Lacey’s escape from Sir, as well as in the current timeline. However, it was mentioned that the casting for these roles has not been announced yet. Previously in July, it was reported that Danielle Savre (of Station 19) had joined Found for a recurring role during season 2. Since the actress portraying Gina is expected to appear in two different time periods, it seems possible that Savre might be playing a relative of Sir’s character instead, as the casting for Lacey’s mother has not been revealed yet.

As I chat with Hampton, he drops a hint about introducing one of his loved ones into the game world as our narrative unfolds further, delving deeper into the intimate lives of those close to Gabi. Here’s what he let slip:

That’s what the show is designed to do. Not only bring light to those no one is looking for, but also show the different paths that each member [of her team] has gone through to get where they are.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my excitement about the potential encounter between Savre and a relative of Sir. This could undoubtedly add an intriguing layer to the narrative we’ve come to know. We’re well aware that Savre holds significant relationships with Gabi, Lacey, and the broader public, given his criminal past. But what about this family member? What was or is their relationship with him? Their interactions have undeniably influenced who he became, whether for better or worse may remain unclear, but it will certainly add depth to the story.

Showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll couldn’t stop complimenting Savre for the exceptional job she’s doing in her role on Found.

The character is a lot of fun. We’ve loved having her on the show, and she’s loved playing it. I think she pretty much interacts with almost everyone on the show, which has been such a beautiful, fun energy to bring in. And she’s such an incredible talent. I leave it to the audience to decide how they feel about her [character]. But for me, it’s been pure joy.

Still, the remark that she’s leaving it up to the audience to decide how to feel about Savre’s character is intriguing. If she is indeed playing a member of Sir’s family that complicates things. She could be “fun” in the sense that she’s amazing to watch on-screen and interacting with the other characters. That she brings a kind of energy that pops but that doesn’t necessarily mean the character is fun or joyful.
