After all the excitement and rumors, I’m thrilled to share that I, Corey Graves, have made my way back to the WWE NXT commentary team! The latest episode saw me officially join forces with Vic Joseph and Booker T. It feels great to be part of the team once again at WWE NXT New Year’s Evil!
The alterations were implemented by WWE in conjunction with their new collaboration with Netflix, impacting all three primary shows. Previously, Graves had been associated with SmackDown alongside Michael Cole, whereas Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett covered RAW, and Vic Joseph and Booker T managed NXT.
As a devoted fan, I recall the exciting shift in WWE’s commentary teams preceding Netflix’s arrival. Yours truly found myself thrilled when Pat McAfee made his comeback on RAW, joining forces with Michael Cole. Meanwhile, Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett swapped sides, landing on SmackDown. Last but not least, Graves teamed up with Vic Joseph and Booker T in NXT. What a time to be a wrestling enthusiast!
Despite the move, Graves didn’t seem pleased and openly showed his discontent. In fact, he was absent during last week’s NXT show, leading to speculation about his future with WWE. However, it appears that Graves still has two years left on his contract, and WWE continues to stand behind him, despite the uncertainties.
As a devoted fan, I was thrilled to hear through Fightful Select that Corey Graves would be back on commentary for this week’s WWE NXT episode. It was exciting news, as he had been scheduled for rehearsals at the WWE Performance Center. Sure enough, he officially returned on the January 21st episode of NXT, and boy, did he make a statement! After his comeback, Graves boldly declared something during the show, leaving us all on the edge of our seats in anticipation for what’s next.
According to Fightful Select, it appears that Corey Graves will be providing commentary for tonight’s NXT broadcast. He is anticipated to be present at the WWE Performance Center for today’s recording session. “I’m right where I want to be”— Corey Graves on his WWE NXT return
The January 21st episode of WWE NXT commenced with Vic Joseph and Booker T providing commentary. Vic Joseph warmly welcomed Corey Graves back to his position, making a light-hearted remark about him not being an AI. Graves replied, expressing his delight to be in this spot, stating, “I’m exactly where I want to be, in a place where passion reigns supreme. Only the zealous can thrive, and professional wrestling will always remain relevant.
At the beginning of #WWENXT, Corey Graves expressed that he’s exactly where he desires to be – a place where passion reigns supreme, and only those who are eager thrive; furthermore, professional wrestling continues to remain an exciting and captivating spectacle.
