As a die-hard wrestling fan who has followed the industry for decades, I find it absolutely delightful to witness the playful banter between CM Punk, Cora Jade, and Roxanne Perez. It’s not often we see such camaraderie and mutual respect between veterans and up-and-coming stars. Their dynamic is a testament to the power of mentorship and the unique bond that forms within the world of professional wrestling.

At WWE NXT, Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez playfully poked fun at ex-AEW star CM Punk by referencing the All Out media scrum. After rejoining WWE at Survivor Series 2023 last November, Punk has dedicated a good deal of his time to guiding the emerging stars of WWE NXT.

CM Punk sustained an injury to his tricep in January while participating in the WWE Men’s Royal Rumble match. Afterward, he started the process of healing from this injury. During his recuperation period, he was frequently observed at the WWE Performance Center. On multiple instances, he was seen there alongside WWE NXT stars Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez.

Last week on NXT, the Women’s Champion, Perez, had an intriguing exchange with CM Punk. In a light-hearted manner, she named him her top wrestler of all time. However, she playfully teased him by suggesting she should have been a fan of Drew McIntyre instead. Previously on the show, Perez poked fun at Punk, and more recently, both Perez and Cora Jade extended an early birthday greeting to CM Punk that subtly referenced the AEW All Out press conference.

46-year-old WWE legend CM Punk recently received playful teasing from his wrestling daughters, Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez. He posted a birthday napkin from them on his Instagram stories with the caption, “They behave well when they’re not being mischievous.

The napkin playfully echoed Punk’s amusing outburst during the AEW All Out 2022 press conference, where he notoriously stated, “I’m hurt, and I’m old, and I’m f–king tired, and I work with kids.” The message humorously depicted Punk as being a century old, suggesting he should savor his fruits and proteins.

In their everyday lives, Punk is affectionately known as “the wrestling father” by Perez and Jade. His spouse, retired WWE performer AJ Lee, also jokes about them being his daughters. The casual camaraderie between these celebrities showcases the deep bond they share.
