Coolie’s Telugu theatrical rights worth Rs. 45 crore
According to India Glitz’s report, the film Coolie has generated significant interest not only in Tamil Nadu but also in several key Telugu-speaking regions. With immense anticipation building around Rajinikanth’s movie, the producers have recently closed a substantial agreement for theatrical rights in these areas as well.
Asian Suniel Narang, Suresh Babu, and producer Dil Raju have purchased the Telugu cinematic distribution rights of the movie for a massive sum of 450 million rupees.
Although the details haven’t been finalized just yet, this agreement seems poised to rank among the priciest deals ever struck between Tamil films and the Telugu region.
What is Coolie’s title in its Hindi version?
Indeed, the movie “Coolie” will be available in various languages aside from its initial release in Tamil. Notably, it will also have a Hindi version catering to viewers primarily in Northern regions of India.

According to a report from TopMob, it’s stated that the film Coolie was produced at an enormous budget of approximately 3500 million rupees. This total cost includes not only the production expenses but also the personal earnings of directors Lokesh Kanagaraj and Rajinikanth.
It was reported that Rajinikanth is set to receive a check totaling 150 crores Indian rupees, which is among the largest sums ever paid to an actor upfront.
Contrarily, Lokesh has managed to secure an impressive fee of 500 million rupees, breaking yet another record in his filmmaking career.
