This coming movie of Rajinikanth, titled “Coolie,” is generating a lot of buzz as one of the most anticipated films of the year. Known for its action-packed and thrilling elements, this film signifies the initial union between Rajinikanth, popularly known as the Jailer actor, and director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
According to recent reports, although there hasn’t been an official announcement about the movie’s premiere, it is believed that the film might open in cinemas around August this year. As for the latest news, 123Telugu claims that the producers are planning to reveal the film’s teaser during the second week of March.
According to the latest updates, the teaser for Coolie’s upcoming film is now officially set and should be released within the next fortnight, together with the movie’s premiere date. There are rumors suggesting that the producers plan to unveil the teaser on March 14th, which happens to be director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s birthday. However, it is important to mention that no official announcement has been made about this potential release date by the production team yet.
Previously stated, Coolie signifies the initial joint effort between Rajinikanth and the director of Kaithi. The filmmaker has emphasized that Coolie is a self-contained project, with no ties to the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), which encompasses movies such as Kaithi, Vikram, and Leo.
Beyond this, the director disclosed that Coolie will be an action-packed thriller, where Rajinikanth will portray a more mysterious character. This film boasts a star-studded cast consisting of Shruti Haasan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, and others in significant roles.
Additionally, it’s been TopMob’s exclusive scoop that Aamir Khan will make a special appearance in the movie. There are rumors swirling that the producers have enlisted Pooja Hegde to perform a dance sequence within the film as well.
The movie Coolie is financed by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures’ banner, with Anirudh Ravichander providing music for his fourth project with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Girish Gangadharan serves as cinematographer and Philomin Raj oversees the editing process for this film.
Regarding Rajinikanth’s upcoming projects, following his role in Coolie, he will join forces once more with director Nelson Dilipkumar for Jailer 2.
