The iconic actor Rajinikanth is preparing for the premiere of his 171st movie titled Coolie. For the very first time, he’s working alongside director Lokesh Kanagaraj, and moviegoers are eagerly anticipating their creative collaboration, as they expect nothing less than extraordinary from these two cinematic titans.
After the movie’s release date was announced, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s latest disclosure has further fueled excitement among fans.
During a recent gathering, filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj was queried about the possibility of iconic moments from Rajinikanth’s previous films being reenacted in the movie “Coolie.” His answer left everyone taken aback.
He mentioned that they haven’t reenacted any specific scenes, but there will be nods and references to the classic movies of Superstar.
Moving forward, when inquired about whether Coolie will incorporate the food elements that are characteristic of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s movies, he affirmed that, indeed, there are notable food scenes within the movie itself.
Speaking about the movie, its creators have revealed that it will premiere on August 14, 2025. The action-packed thriller “Coolie” featuring Rajinikanth is gearing up for a theater release. But, it’s predicted to encounter stiff competition at the box office because it shares the same release date with Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming film, War 2.
