Over the course of this past weekend, one of the most esteemed events took place in Cernobbio, Italy: Concorso D’Eleganza Villa D’Este. Surrounded by the picturesque Lake Como, this three-day extravaganza showcased some of the world’s most significant and time-honored automobiles ever crafted.

At the esteemed Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, a select showcase of vintage and futuristic vehicles were presented, chosen for their historical importance, aesthetics, and scarcity. This grand event was coordinated by BMW Group Classic and the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este, with the event being held on the hotel’s premises and neighboring Villa Erba. In addition, an exhibition called FuoriConcourso was staged within the picturesque paths surrounding Lake Como.

Displayed automobiles represented various eras, ranging from vintage 20th-century models to modern design prototypes. Among them were iconic racers such as the McLaren F1 GTR, Ferrari F40 LM, and Lamborghini Diablo SV-R, which attracted large crowds, while hypercars like the Pagani Huayra Epitome and Koenigsegg CCX drew exceptional interest. This year, restomods were a highlight – Kimera unveiled several of its EVO37 and EVO38 models, and the Marc Philipp Gemballa MARSIEN made a rare public appearance. Furthermore, BMW presented not only the new M2 CS but also teased the upcoming Speedtop shooting brake concept, which was recently announced.

The process of determining the winning vehicles in each category was carried out by a team of specialists who assessed them using criteria such as authenticity, preservation, and consistent design. Furthermore, there were categories open for public voting, as well as exhibits presented by the manufacturers themselves.
