This film will be helmed by Apatow, while Spielberg is involved in its production through his Amblin Entertainment label. The script for this project has been penned by Jason Shuman and Ben Queen, and according to Deadline’s report, it is currently in the initial stages of development.
As a die-hard fan, I’m eagerly anticipating the next cinematic venture by Apatow, set to release after his 2022 comedy masterpiece, “The Bubble” on Netflix. In this upcoming project, he dons both writer and director hats, working alongside an impressive ensemble that includes Karen Gillan, Vir Das, Pedro Pascal, Iris Apatow, and Fred Armisen. Known for his exceptional work in comedy, Apatow has left a lasting impact with films like “The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” “Pineapple Express,” “Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story,” and many more.
