Cody Rhodes’ Family Members Spoke Out About John Cena’s Actions

At WrestleMania 41’s headlining bout, the current Undisputed Champion, Cody Rhodes, will square off against the victor of the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, John Cena, who clinched this opportunity last weekend.

Following the contest, Rhodes and Cena exchanged a gesture of respect by shaking hands. Yet, The Rock made an appearance in the ring alongside Travis Scott, where it was revealed that Rhodes accepted The Rock’s proposal to serve as his Corporate Champion and forfeit his integrity.

Cody Rhodes decisively turned down the proposal, prompting an exultant John Cena to embrace him warmly, clearly thrilled. Yet, surprisingly, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who was nearby, gestured for him to launch an assault instead.

John Cena performed a violent attack on Cody Rhodes during the match, leaving him injured in the ring. Following the event, Cena attended the post-show news conference but chose not to speak. He merely grabbed the microphone, put it down, and left without uttering a single word.

Later, in response to the unexpected twist, he shared a GTA 6 meme, alluding to the widespread joke that significant events occur before the game is released. Through this meme, he indirectly expressed his feelings about the situation. Simultaneously, Cody Rhodes’ spouse, Brandi Rhodes, and his brother, Dustin Rhodes, reacted to Cena’s actions with their own statement.

Brandi Rhodes, who has joined Cody Rhodes at past WrestleMania appearances, voiced her disapproval towards John Cena following his surprising shift to a villainous role (heel turn), as she found it unfortunate that he chose to align himself with ‘The Final Boss.’

Currently under contract with AEW, Dustin Rhodes recently criticized both John Cena and The Rock for their actions.
