COD Mobile AR Tier List Season 4 (2025): The Meta Assault Rifles To Use This Season

Title Update for Mobile COD Season 4 (2025), named ‘Infinity Realm,’ has arrived! This brings about substantial alterations in the game’s weapon balance, which will reshape the strategy we were accustomed to from the past season.

The new season introduces a fresh Assault Rifle, the Vargo-S, together with a novel Tactical Bouncer class. Additionally, it offers a battle pass and challenge pass, a Seven Deadly Sins themed event, and more exciting features. It also includes significant adjustments to weapon balances for both multiplayer (MP) and battle royale (BR) modes.

It can sometimes be tough deciding which weapons are worth using in COD: Mobile Season 4 (2025), but fear not! Our assault rifle tier list for all ARs in the game will help you decide which ones are top-notch and which ones might be better left unused.

COD: Mobile Assault Rifle Tier List

In this game, assault rifles are widely preferred due to their versatility. Equipped with an array of accessories, these weapons can be customized to perform exceptionally well in close quarters as well as from a distance.

Currently in Call of Duty: Mobile, as we move into Season 4 (2025), a total of 33 assault rifles have been introduced. The latest addition to this collection is the Vargo-S, which made its debut in Season 4, named ‘Infinity Realm.’

Here’s our rating system for assault rifles, categorizing them from top-notch (S) to least effective (D). We’ll provide insights on why each gun landed in its respective tier.

S-Tier

  • Vargo – S
  • XM4
  • Type 19
  • ASM10
  • AK-47
  • AS VAL
  • M13
  • Kilo 141
  • Krig 6
  • MK2 Peacekeeper
  • Groza

In addition to its excellent performance, the Groza ranks among the top ARs available in the game. Consequently, we’ve decided to place it in our S-tier category.

In this new season of Call of Duty: Mobile, both the ASM10 and AK-47 have received enhancements, which has further boosted their already impressive performance as assault rifles. As a result, they now occupy the top rank, or S-tier.

To begin with Season 11, we initially categorized the Krig 6 as a top-tier weapon (A-tier). However, after extensive use, it’s become evident that this new assault rifle can hold its own against the best. It boasts exceptional accuracy, minimal recoil, and high damage per shot, making it a formidable force in any range encounter. We’re definitely fans of it!

Keeping their spots in the S-tier are the M13 and Kilo 141.

As a devoted enthusiast, I’ve always found these two firearms standing tall in the assault rifle category, and there’s a solid explanation for that. They deliver impressive firepower, keep recoil to a minimum, and, let me tell you, they truly shine when it comes to versatility, thanks to their extensive range of customizable attachments.

The decision between these two options significantly relies on your preferred gaming approach. If you enjoy maintaining some distance in your encounters, the Kilo 141 would be more suited to your style.

The M13 stands out due to its user-friendly design. Nearly devoid of recoil, this assault rifle is perfect for individuals who seldom encounter terms like ‘recoil pattern.’

The MK2 Peacekeeper, previously at S-tier, makes a comeback! Its firepower now extends effectively from short to medium distances.

A-Tier

  • LAG 53 (new)
  • BP50
  • FFAR 1
  • Maddox
  • CR-56 AMAX
  • HVK 30
  • AK117
  • DR-H
  • Type 25
  • Oden
  • Grau 5.56

In the top category of weapons, the recently introduced AK-47 has shown exceptional performance as an assault rifle, particularly following the enhancements made to its recoil control and rate of fire during sprinting in the weapon adjustments of Season 10.

Additionally, the CR-56 AMAX remains in the top tier. Its Accuracy Down Sight (ADS) spread has been reduced, enhancing its precision as an assault rifle, making it a solid choice.

In past seasons, I’ve found the AS VAL to be an excellent assault rifle in Call of Duty: Mobile. Whether it will rise to the S-tier remains to be seen, but for now, it hasn’t quite reached that level yet. So, for the time being, it holds its spot here.

Many excellent alternatives within the A-tier don’t quite reach the number one position due to minor flaws. But with the addition of suitable accessories, most of them can deliver impressive performance levels.

B-Tier

  • LK24
  • ICR-1
  • Man-O-War
  • KN-44
  • Swordfish
  • HBRa3

These guns fall into the mid-tier category, which has become more popular since developers aimed to ensure that a variety of the game’s weapons are attractive choices.

There are a few in here that were buffed in previous seasons, namely the ICR-1 and LK24.

The initial damage range, chest hit multiplier, and headshot multiplier for the ICR-1 have undergone significant boosts. This popular weapon becomes an excellent choice when equipped with suitable accessories.

It remains uncertain whether it belongs in the top A-class or perhaps even the exceptional S-class, but it definitely shows promise for reaching those levels.

Other notable guns here are the KN-44 and Man-O-War.

C-Tier

  • M4
  • BK57
  • FR .556
  • EM2

The FR .556 has received an update that boosts its mobility slightly, yet it seems this change may not be sufficient for it to become a highly effective weapon. Consequently, it continues to be classified as a C-tier firearm for now.

The M4 will be as popular as ever but is still not meta.

The BK57 might benefit from being slightly upgraded, given its strong damage output and rapid firing speed. However, other weapons with similar characteristics tend to limit its potential.

In the game, the latest assault rifle, known as the EM2, is now classified in the C tier. This fully-automatic bullpup weapon isn’t quite fast enough to match the top guns in its category, and the challenge to acquire it will mainly appeal to collectors.

D-Tier

  • M16

In simpler terms, the least effective assault rifle in the game has been improved with a fresh unique accessory; this change allows the weapon to switch its firing mode from burst to continuous automatic fire.

The addition significantly enhances the M16, yet falls short of pushing it beyond a D-rank. Regrettably, no enhancements were made to the M16 in the Season 7 update either. Therefore, I’d advise against using it.
