Following Alicia Hannah-Kim‘s accusation against Martin Kove for an alleged assault incident at a public event, the actress has publicly shared her perspectives on the matter. Hannah-Kim used social media to describe an incident where Kove allegedly bit her arm during the recent Summer Con 2025, while also expressing appreciation towards those who provided support throughout the ordeal.

On the 29th of June, which was a Sunday, Alicia Hannah-Kim shared thoughts about a past encounter involving her and co-star Martin Kove from Cobra Kai, by uploading a video to her Instagram account.

To kick off her post, she expressed gratitude to her fans for their support, stating, “I just wanted to pop in and greet everyone, as well as thank each one of you who’ve reached out to me over the past week. I understand that things are busy, but let me tell you, I had a fantastic time at Summer Con, and I always look forward to meeting you all in person.

Alicia Hannah-Kim, the actress who played Kim Da-Eun in the final seasons of Cobra Kai, stated, “This was a troubling event. Nobody desires to be assaulted at their workplace or any other place, truthfully. I believe it’s unthinkable for anyone to view this as ordinary, desirable, or appropriate. When faced with something like this, it’s crucial to assert yourself.

Although Alicia Hannah-Kim had an unpleasant experience with Kove, she made it clear in a video that this one event did not impact her overall impression of Cobra Kai. She emphasized the show’s positive atmosphere and excellent cast, adding that everyone else associated with the project was pleasant. The experienced actress then closed her video by expressing her desire to put this matter behind her and move forward.

After Martin Kove allegedly bit Hannah-Kim on her upper arm at the 2025 Summer Con in Washington on June 22nd, she chose not to press charges but requested a police report as a precaution. Since then, Kove has admitted his mistakes towards his Cobra Kai co-star, taking full responsibility for his actions, according to TMZ.
