In a twist as shocking as finding bacon in your vegan fridge, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Group has clarified that it’s not launching XRP or Solana futures – at least not yet!
Remember that leaked website that got everyone’s hopes up? Well, turns out it was just a “beta version” that accidentally saw the light of day. A CME spokesperson confirmed to Fox Business that no official decisions have been made about launching futures contracts for these tokens.
But don’t worry, the blunder did give us a brief price rally for both tokens, so if you were quick on the draw, you might’ve made a buck or two!
Meanwhile, XRP and Solana are having a bit of a rollercoaster day. XRP is down over 2.5%, but still holding strong above the crucial $3.0 support. Solana, on the other hand, is down 4.4%, but analysts remain optimistic about its potential rally.
So, there you have it! The CME Group – not quite ready to jump on the XRP and SOL futures bandwagon. But who knows what the future holds? Stay tuned for more exciting rollercoaster rides!
