CM Punk Hints at Forming a New Faction with Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley

As a lifelong WWE fan and someone who has seen the rise and fall (and rise again) of countless factions, I can confidently say that if CM Punk, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley join forces to form the Quad Terror Squad, we’re in for one heck of a ride!

Previously part of The Judgment Day, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley could potentially gain a new partner in WWE RAW’s CM Punk. At the SummerSlam event, The Judgment Day experienced conflict as Dominik Mysterio turned against Rhea Ripley, aligning instead with Liv Morgan.

1. In the aftermath of Dominik Mysterio’s deception towards Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor also backstabbed Damian Priest during his fight against Gunther, causing Priest to lose the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Post WWE SummerSlam, The Judgment Day expanded their group by recruiting Liv Morgan, sparking a rivalry with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley.

Over the past few weeks on WWE RAW, the revamped Judgment Day group has been focusing their attacks on Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. Despite moments where they’ve managed to gain control, The Judgment Day leveraged their superior numbers this week to overwhelm them. Yet, hope might be on the horizon for Priest and Ripley as CM Punk hinted at forming a new alliance and even proposed a name for it.

What name did CM Punk suggest for his potential new faction?

Recently, CM Punk hinted at creating a new alliance with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. Known for his skill in leading groups, Punk has previously headed factions such as The Straight Edge Society back in 2009, which consisted of members who chose not to consume alcohol or drugs. Later on, in the late 2010s, Punk took over as leader from Wade Barrett within The Nexus, becoming the new chief of this faction.

With Punk’s proven ability in leading factions, he could provide crucial assistance to Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley as they encounter difficulties from the latest Judgment Day group. Punk subtly suggested forming a new alliance with Priest and Ripley, which he called the Quad Terror Squad. A picture on his Instagram Story showed the trio, along with WWE backstage interviewer Cathy Kelly, in the image as well.

While the image appears inviting, it’s fascinating to consider whether it might spawn a fresh group. We’ll have to wait and see.
