Clash Royale Announces Sweeping Changes To The Pass Royale

As a seasoned Clash Royale player with countless hours spent on battlegrounds, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions as I read about the impending changes to the Pass Royale system. The Gold Pass, a familiar friend in my gaming journey, is set to depart, making way for the new Diamond Pass and revamped Free Pass.

The forthcoming updates are set to roll out in Clash Royale around early October (perfect timing for the commencement of the October season). This transition will result in the Pass Royale functioning under a revised reward scheme.

Supercell believes that this revamp will streamline the Pass Royale journey for every player. The updated system provides an opportunity for all players, whether they’ve opted for the premium or free version, to access improved perks and bonuses.

What To Know About The Pass Royale Rework

The significant alteration is that the Gold Pass will no longer exist, and instead, the revamped Pass Royale will encompass the freshly introduced Diamond Pass as well as an upgraded Free Pass.

On October 2nd, an update will be rolled out that allows the September season and its associated pass to stay active for a short while longer. By October 7th, the Gold Pass in Clash Royale will no longer be available and will be substituted with the new Diamond Pass and Free Pass instead.
