As someone who’s spent countless hours battling it out in Clash-O-Ween events since its humble beginnings, let me tell you, the Mashup Mania Event has got my pulse racing! From October 11 to November 1, I’ll be diving headfirst into this limited-time extravaganza that promises power-packed temporary troops, event-exclusive resources, and special rewards for Town Hall 6 and above players.
If you eagerly anticipate each year’s Clash-O-Ween celebrations within the gaming world of Clash of Clans, it goes without saying that you must be bursting with joy at the prospect of the Mashup Mania Event!
The event taking shape from October 11th up until November 1st offers a unique opportunity for players who have progressed beyond Town Hall level 6. During this span, you’ll get to test out powerful temporary troops, collect resources that are exclusive to the event, and unveil special rewards!
In Mashup Mania, the structure of the rules and rewards is reminiscent of previous seasonal occurrences, but nothing about the unique characters and resources you’ll encounter feels run-of-the-mill. So, let’s jump right in!
How To Earn Rewards During The Mashup Mania Event
To earn any rewards for this event, you’ll have to gather either the Sour Elixir or Mashup Medals, which are the exclusive resources required for this specific occasion.
In multiplayer fights, you can acquire Sour Elixir by demolishing enemy structures. This valuable resource will aid you in advancing through the Event Pass’s multiple levels. Upon reaching a level, you can unlock prizes like Magic Items, Ores, and temporary troops for a limited time. The Event Pass offers 24 such levels to progress through, and additional Mashup Medals can be earned in the Bonus Track.
To clarify, you’ll find that Mashup Medals are essential for procuring goods from the event’s Trader Store. The inventory features seasonal costumes, decorations, and the latest Hero Equipment called Lavaloon Puppet. You can actually acquire Mashup Medals by completing tasks in the Mashup Mania Event Pass.
Enter Battles With The Event’s Temporary Troops
The Mashup Mania event introduces both familiar and new temporary troops to Clash of Clans.
Initially, the short-term unit you’re getting is called the Ice Minion. This airborne entity specializes in attacking enemy fortifications with close-combat strikes. When this minion is defeated, it leaves behind an area that freezes buildings and adversaries for a short spell of time. To acquire this troop, you’ll need to collect 1,000 units of Sour Elixir from the Event Pass.
Additionally, characters from previous Clash-O-Ween gatherings such as the Barbarian (Barcher), Golem Witch, Hog Wizard, and Lavaloon will reappear in the game. Similar to the Ice Minion, you’ll need to access them via the Event Pass before using them. The Barbarian requires 2,000 Sour Elixir, the Golem Witch demands 3,000 Sour Elixir, the Hog Wizard calls for 4,000 Sour Elixir. In contrast, the Lavaloon will be immediately usable once the event commences.
