Last month’s news you might have missed: Task and Purpose reveals that the U.S. military is publishing a comic biography about Sergeant William Carney, the first African American soldier in mid-19th century to be awarded the Medal of Honor for bravery. Interestingly, this comic book is being penned by an accomplished veteran screenwriter. Compared to certain contemporary left-wing creators, this certainly seems quite commendable.
