Two more actors have joined the cast of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.
After the critically acclaimed “Oppenheimer” movie hit the screens in 2023, director Christopher Nolan is now busy with a theater release of his adaptation of The Odyssey, scheduled for this July. Matt Damon has been cast as the lead character, Odysseus, in this upcoming film.
According to Deadline, Michael Vlamis and Iddo Goldberg are the latest additions to the cast of ‘The Odyssey,’ but their roles remain undetermined as of now.
Vlamis gained recognition for portraying Michael Guerin in the TV series Roswell, New Mexico on The CW. He appeared in a 2021 horror movie titled The Resort, and most recently, he made his directorial debut with Crossword, which had its premiere at the Austin Film Festival in October 2024.
Goldberg has made appearances in numerous TV shows such as Snowpiercer, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Peaky Blinders, Salem, Supergirl, The Last Tycoon, Westworld, and Ghosts of Beirut. His film career spans titles like Defiance (2008), The Tournament (2009), The Tourist (2010), The Zookeeper’s Wife (2017), Driven (2018), Fear (2023), and many others.

It narrates tales like Odysseus’ adventures with the Cyclops Polyphemus, the tempting Sirens, and the sorceress Circe, ultimately leading to his long-awaited reunion with his wife Penelope.
On July 17, 2026, Nolan’s adaptation of The Odyssey is set to hit both traditional US theaters and IMAX screens, distributed by Universal Pictures.
