As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that Dead By Daylight has truly outdone itself this year. The upcoming content for December is enough to make any survivor or killer’s heart skip a beat!
2024 has been an incredible year for me, immersed in Dead By Daylight, and I have no doubt that Behaviour Interactive will wrap up the year just as spectacularly. December is usually predictable due to annual events, but recent leaks hint at some exciting surprises coming our way! It seems like we’ll be unwrapping new skins and a fresh map set as early Christmas gifts from the developers, spreading joy throughout the Dead By Daylight community.
With November just around the corner, there’s plenty to look forward to in Dead By Daylight! The highly-anticipated update 2v8 returns this month, bringing fresh killers, maps, and updates. Behaviour Interactive has even unveiled their complete roadmap for November 2024, featuring a free trial and additional content. Instead of its original release in December, Chapter 34 will be making its debut on November 28th, with the perks for The Houndmaster and Taurie Cain already revealed.
In November, there’s an abundance of happenings and cosmetic items on offer, and it looks like December will follow suit. As of now, BeHaviour hasn’t disclosed their plans for December, but the community can anticipate more holiday sweaters and a plethora of other festive-themed activities.
Dead By Daylight leaks share December skins and map
Information from leaker Aricarna on the DBDLeaks Discord suggests that some fresh skin collections will be added to Dead By Daylight in December. It appears that on December 3rd, these select survivors will don festive, albeit unsightly, sweater outfits.

Besides what’s already been mentioned, Dvveet pointed out that it seems Lara and Trevor won’t get their sweaters immediately. Instead, they’ll have to wait until the release to find out definitively.
Apart from the previously mentioned unattractive sweaters, Aricarna anticipates that their skincare lines will be released/return on these upcoming dates:
- Holiday Horror – Dec 5th
- Deck the Trials – Dec 10th
- Bone Chill – Dec 17th
- Winter Tales – Dec 19th
It’s important to note that these dates are subject to change, so they are not set in stone.
Akin to the Bone Chill skins, it would be fitting to introduce a Bone Chill event akin to those held in 2022 and 2023. This event should commence in December and extend into early January, following the pattern set by Haunted By Daylight that began in October to celebrate Halloween and concluded in early November.
Lastly, in addition to all of the aforementioned skin collections and Bone Chill event, we are getting a new a map via Ormond Lake Mine. This is the map part of the update 8.4.0/Chapter 34 PTB.
The Ormond Lake Mine will not be introduced as part of Chapter 34; instead, it’s scheduled to debut prior to the year-end, with a possible release date in December 2024.
As things stand now, this is everything we have on December. If past trends continue, you can expect daily login incentives starting from December 1st and extending into early January. These rewards could include Bloodpoints, shards, and other items.
