A new clip from The Electric State has been released.
In simple terms, “The Electric State” is an upcoming science fiction adventure movie. This movie is helmed by the Russo Brothers, who are famously known as Joe and Anthony Russo. The star-studded cast includes Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt. Excitingly, it’s set to premiere on Netflix in March.

What happens in The Electric State clip?
In the movie “The Electric State,” Brown and Pratt’s characters journey through the American West in search of a peaceful hideout. They’re joined by two amicable robots, one of whom, named Herman (voiced by Anthony Mackie), recounts their initial encounter with Pratt. As they explore an abandoned shopping mall, they are ambushed by a hostile robot who begins to hurl refrigerators at them.
As a gamer, I’d put it this way: “In ‘The Electric State’, I, a curious young woman named Michelle (Brown), journey alongside my enigmatic robot companion. Circumstances force us into an alliance with the quirky wanderer Keats (Pratt). We embark on an epic cross-country road trip in search of my lost brother, navigating through a fascinatingly electrified, futuristic version of America, filled with retro charm.
The Electric State is an adaptation of Simon Stålenhag’s 2018 graphic novel of the same name.
Previously, Stålenhag expressed his awe towards the film to Netflix. He found it captivating to see his illustrations come alive in such a manner. What particularly moved him was the movie’s emotional heart, which revolves around the importance of family. Although the film’s genre deviates slightly from the book, the core theme of family remains intact and is further developed beautifully.
In addition to Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci, Woody Norman, Giancarlo Esposito, and others, the ensemble features stars like Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Alan Tudyk, and Hank Azaria lending their voices to the robots in this movie.
The Electric State will be released on Netflix on March 14, 2025.
