Actor Chiyaan Vikram is basking in the anticipation for his upcoming movie, Thangalaan, which will be released on August 15, 2024. Since its inception, this film has piqued the interest of viewers. Fans of Vikram are ecstatic by his remarkably transformed look in the film, and lately, headlines have been made after an unexpected question elicited a unique response from Vikram.
At a press event for Thangalaan in Madurai, as reported by OnManorama, a journalist posed a question to Chiyaan Vikram that implied he may not have the same level of fan support as actors such as Ajith Kumar and Suriya.
Although the question took him aback and was quite blunt, Vikram responded serenely and composedly. He replied, “That’s due to my devoted followers. Just visit the theater and witness it for yourself.”
Afterward, another reporter who was there at the event publicly questioned Vikram about why his name wasn’t included in the top three leading actors in South cinema.
Once again, the star opted for tranquility over rage and responded wisely, “Ranking on the leading actor list doesn’t hold much weight for me. It’s the everyday audience members who truly matter. In my eyes, each person is a fan of mine, in one way or another.”
During these discussions, it seems another journalist, known to be an admirer of Vikram, stepped forward to support him. This supporter pointed out that even well-known actors like Ajith and Suriya might face criticism from some quarters, but Vikram apparently doesn’t have any detractors.
After listening to the enthusiastic reaction, Chiyaan Vikram politely requested his fan to take a moment to cool down, explaining that it’s best not to react immediately to certain types of questions.
