Chiranjeevi clarified on his social media that the rumors about his mother Anjana Devi being hospitalized due to illness were false. It’s worth noting that they had a festive family celebration for her birthday not long ago.
The famous celebrity posted a formal update on X (previously known as Twitter), denying speculations that his mother had fallen ill and required hospitalization.

He wrote, “I’ve seen some news stories suggesting that our mother isn’t well and has been hospitalized. I just wanted to set the record straight – she had a minor illness for a few days but is perfectly fine now. I kindly ask the media not to spread any unverified reports about her health. Thank you for your understanding.
In terms of his career, the actor is garnering attention for an upcoming film titled Vishwambhara. This Telugu-language fantasy action production, penned and helmed by Mallidi Vassishta, is slated for a theater release in May 2025.
Simultaneously, the prominent actor has also agreed to appear in another film directed by Srikanth Odela. Known for its high level of violence, this movie is being financed by actor Nani.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that Chiranjeevi just marked his 46th wedding anniversary with his partner, Surekha. He took to social media to post beautiful photos of them, captured while they were celebrating their milestone in the air, en route to Dubai on a flight together.
