As a dedicated gamer and avid fan of Chinese Wuxia dramas, I have to admit that the latest episode 20 of “Dashing Youth” left me on the edge of my seat! The reunion between Neo Hou as Baili Dongjun and He Yu as Ye Yun was a long-awaited moment for many viewers like myself.

In the ongoing Wuxia Chinese drama “Dashing Youth,” Neo Hou and He Yu take center stage as the leading actors. On July 30, 2024, episode 20 was made available to viewers. The new episode highlights the heartwarming reunion of Baili Dongjun (Neo Hou) with his cherished friend Ye Yun (He Yu).

In this episode, Ye Yun and his mentor, the Rain Demon, reach Nanjue. Here, they encounter Yan Lingxia, the Blade Deity. The Rain Demon has journeyed great distances to challenge Lingxia and demonstrate his abilities. He urges Ye Yun to watch the battle closely, so he can acquire valuable skills. An intense clash ensues between these two formidable adversaries. They slash through the heavens and the waters with their powerful strikes.

Whilst Dongjun, Yue Yao and Mr. Li choose to relax by the roadside, an altered Mr. Li, now looking youthful and vibrant, shares that Rain Demon is among the most skilled sword-wielders he’s known. However, this talent comes with a downside as Rain Demon is arrogant, overconfident, and easily angered – his main weaknesses. Interestingly, Mr. Li adds that Rain Demon was once a good-looking young man, but undergoing the Demon-Deity technique transformed him into a woman. They opt to spend the day in a nearby town called Qiayue before continuing their journey.

1. In the aftermath of their battle, Lingxia succumbs to defeat while the Rain Demon sustains a mortal wound. Before expiring, he counsels Ye Yun to carry on his legacy but not seek revenge for his death. He confesses that years of mastering the demonic art have drained his vitality. However, before leaving, he implores Ye Yun to journey northward and vanquish the disciple of his former adversary. Moments later, the Rain Demon ascends into the heavens.

Where did Neo Hou & He Yu reunite?

1. Mr. Li, accompanied by Dongjun and Yue Yao, paid a visit to Luo Sheng, an old friend of his who is a military deity and blacksmith. Despite their friendship, Luo Sheng initially refused to make a sword for Dongjun because he didn’t have a favorable impression of him. However, once Mr. Li presented a brooch that held special meaning to Luo Sheng, he agreed to create the blade.

1. When inquired about Dongjun’s desire for a blade despite owning a celestial-level sword, Mr. Li discloses his intention to instruct him on the dual-wielding sword-blade method. Luo Sheng requests some time to finish the blade’s forging, as he is currently working on it and only needs final adjustments.

What happens in Dashing Youth episode 20’s ending?

1. Following the creation of the blade, Mr. Li recommends that Dongjun disregard the 19 embroidered sword skills and instead learn fresh techniques with his weapon. Subsequently, Mr. Luo challenges Dongjun to a sparring match. Although Dongjun was self-assured, he ultimately lost the skirmish. It turned out that his old companion, Ye Yun, was present at the contest.

It turns out that Mr. Luo was the blacksmith who crafted his sword as well, and he named it “Pavillon Moon.” With this discovery, Ye Yun chose to accompany Dongjun on their journey.
