The play unfolds around Liu Mian Tang, or Wang Churan, a virtuous and benevolent ruler of Yang Shan. Known for her intelligence and unwavering commitment to justice, she encounters treacherous assaults that leave her for dead. Miraculously, she’s saved by Cui Xing Zhou, also known as Zhang Wanyi, the prince of Huai Yang. However, these attacks result in her losing her memory and forgetting her former identity.
Instead of shielding each other from conspiracies, they grew mutually protective. However, as time went on, difficulties arose causing them to grow apart. In order to safeguard Mian Tang, Xing Zhou ultimately made the difficult decision to say goodbye.

On Monday, August 12, 2024, the first installment of “Are You the One” is scheduled to premiere on Tencent Video’s app and website. For our international viewers, the show will also be accessible on WeTV, offering subtitles in multiple languages. In the released preview, character Cui Xing Zhou aims to eliminate the insurgents of Yang Shan. Initially taken aback, he chooses to feign an identity and lavishes affection on her. As they grow closer, they learn to depend on each other.
The situation had been smooth sailing until one fateful day when Mian Tang reclaimed her lost memories. She recalled her history, her kin, and her mission. Despite the sorrow it caused him, Xing Zhou allowed her to depart. Preparing to return to her hometown, she was ambushed once more by her adversaries. In response, Xing Zhou united with her in combat. His resolve was unwavering – he aimed to escort her safely home.
