Iconic singer Cher published “Cher: The Memoir, Part One” on November 19, where she reminisced about her initial sexual encounter as a teenager. As reported by PEOPLE, this music legend confessed to having a crush on a neighborhood boy. Their relationship blossomed when she was 14 years old, and they would often share intimate moments, such as kissing in her bedroom.

Cher described the boy as being “quite pleasant” when they were by themselves, but she observed that he would act towards her like a source of embarrassment once his friends were present. In one specific situation, Cher recollected that he “left her behind” following an incident where the group was planning to dine at a restaurant. The multiple award-winning artist disclosed that his friends teased him by inquiring if he would be bringing “that child,” with reference to her. Cher felt “overlooked” after this occurrence.

The actor went on to say, “When he did that, it left me feeling deeply hurt, and in response, I chose to have sex with him as a way to seek revenge.” Cher clarified that she never desired this action, stating, “Had I genuinely wanted it, I would’ve given in one of the many times he proposed before. But I was so enraged by being disregarded that I decided to temporarily offer my virginity to him.

Cher reminisced about her first sexual encounter, stating, “Once the supposedly highly anticipated event concluded, I inquired, ‘Is that all? Is it over?'” Later, she instructed the young man to “leave and not return.” The singer also expressed a desire for him to feel as rejected as he had left her feeling.
