Previously crowned WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair recently posted an intriguing message that hints at her comeback. In late December of 2023, fans last saw her on WWE SmackDown, where she sustained a severe knee injury during her bout against Asuka.
After making a complete recovery, Flair is preparing for her grand return. A while ago, rumors hinted at her impending comeback. Last week, WWE placed Flair back on their active roster, which seems to indicate her return is close at hand. It has been officially confirmed that she will be working with the SmackDown brand.
Moreover, there’s been talk about a possible showdown between Charlotte Flair and the newly titled Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton, at WrestleMania 41. What’s more, Charlotte Flair recently posted something interesting, suggesting that her comeback might be just around the corner.

More recently, Charlotte Flair, a former WWE Women’s Champion, posted an image showcasing her progress during her training and recovery process. In the picture, she is seen with Norman Smiley, a seasoned WWE coach and assistant coach at the Performance Center. Over the years, Smiley has played a significant role in molding the careers of many prominent WWE Superstars.
Additionally, Flair posted an old picture with Smiley from the early stages of her healing process. The photo was accompanied by the message, “Day 1. I love you, Coach Smiley,” as she donned a knee brace. This gesture subtly suggests that her appearance on WWE programming could be happening earlier than anticipated.
It seems the most recent updates suggest that there are plans for a WrestleMania 41 match featuring her against Tiffany Stratton in the WWE.
It appears that Charlotte Flair’s comeback could very well take place at the Royal Rumble event happening on February 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. She’s been tipped as a strong contender for the Women’s Royal Rumble match victory.
