In chapter 172, titled “Bzz! Boom! Chomp!”, Denji unleashed his devil form in its entirety, systematically defeating Special Division 5, one fiend after another. Once the entire division and the Public Safety officer were eliminated, a different officer ordered Special Division 6 to launch their operation immediately.
Shortly following this, a Centipede Demon launches an attack on Chainsaw Man, entwining itself around him. Despite being wounded, Chainsaw Man swiftly dismembers the creature. Next, he proceeds to assault Bill Pug and a member of Public Safety. The subsequent panel in the chapter displays Pochita revealing his horrifying form.
In the heat of my gaming spree, I, Chainsaw Man, charge at the Ear Devil, with Pochita devouring it whole. The team on monitor watches in bewilderment as this peculiar event unfolds. The narrative then switches to Katana Man and War Devil Yoru. Katana Man is visibly shaken, demanding to know Chainsaw Man’s whereabouts from Yoru. By now, Yoru, War Devil herself, notices that her ears have vanished, a detail she mentions with a smirk on her face.
