In this week’s Nintendo Direct broadcast on March 2025, Nintendo unveiled the upcoming game titled Rhythm Heaven Groove. The game appears to maintain the familiar elements that series fans have grown accustomed to. A peek into the gameplay revealed a collection of minigames designed to challenge our reflexes and rhythmic abilities. These games ranged from little blobs leaping through hoops, to ducks flying in formation, an assembly line worker smashing cans with a hammer, a woman catching and chopping vegetables, among other activities. Expected to release on the Nintendo Switch in 2026.

After the unveiling of Space Marine 3, touted as an “even more impressive” sequel, the development teams assured fans that they remain committed to the original game, emphasizing that they have no intention of leaving it behind due to the release of the third installment.

The sneak peek video for Tomodachi Life: A Fantastic Vacation depicts Mii characters breakdancing, appreciating blooms, and squabbling. It’s apparent that the series maintains its signature goofiness in a scene where a character dreams of an enormous friend-turned-kaiju looming over them.

In this week’s March 2025 Direct presentation, Nintendo revealed details about their new app, Nintendo Today. As per information on its website, you can download Nintendo Today onto your Apple or Android device through the App Store and Google Play. All you need is a Nintendo Online Account to access it. Once logged in, users can expect regular updates and news from Nintendo, along with an animated calendar featuring Nintendo characters and themes, as well as comics related to popular games.

The game includes a Pet system, similar to many Roblox games, along with a code redemption option, among other features.

During the March 2025 Nintendo Direct event, a preview trailer for the Marvel Cosmic Invasion game was unveiled. This side-scrolling fighting game is developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu. It features characters from the Marvel universe battling alien adversaries. Confirmed playable characters include Spider-Man, Captain America, Storm, Wolverine, Nova, and Phyla-Vell.

At the Game Developers Conference (GDC), Larry Kuperman, the business development director at Nightdive Studios, shared some insights. He mentioned that the third game is facing a rather complex scenario, yet he’s optimistic that fans might receive updates on it possibly within the next twelve months.
