Borderlands film pulls $16.5 million globally in its opening weekend

Over the weekend, the movie adaptation of Borderlands, produced by Lionsgate, Gearbox, and Eli Roth, premiered in cinemas. Unfortunately, the reception has been poor, with harsh criticisms and one of the lowest ratings ever for a film. To add to this, the movie barely recouped its production costs, which were approximately $115 million, as it only made $16.5 million during its opening weekend at the box office.

Two games based on the Halloween movies are in development at Boss Team Games

The game development studio known as Boss Team Games, famous for the 2022 version of Evil Dead, is currently working on two video games inspired by the 1978 horror movie Halloween. One of these projects utilizes Unreal Engine 5 and will involve creative input from John Carpenter, who both directed the original film and created its well-known theme music.
