Netflix has unveiled the complete trailer for season 2 of “Castlevania: Nocturne,” the popular dark fantasy animated spin-off series. The new episodes will become available for streaming starting this Thursday, January 16, 2025.

What happens in the Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 trailer?
The video focuses on an impending battle against the Vampire Messiah’s troops, as beloved character Alucard reemerges to aid the latest generation in their struggle against this formidable foe. Additionally, it hints at Richter Belmont’s development, demonstrating his readiness to confront the adversary with his newly acquired abilities and resilience.
In the second season, Alucard, along with Richter Belmont and their group of vampire slayers, are in a frantic battle against time. The formidable Erzsebet Báthory, often referred to as the Vampire Messiah, appears unstoppable. She aims to acquire the complete power of the goddess Sekhmet, with the intention of casting the world into an eternal night filled with fear and dread.
Nocturne is a spin-off series that Clive Bradley and Kevin Kolde have developed and overseen as showrunners. This series is inspired by the 1993 video game Castlevania: Rondo of Blood from Konami. The talented cast includes Edward Bluemel as Richter, Pixie Davies as Maria Renard, Thuso Mbedu as Annette, Natassja Kinski as Tera, Sydney James Harcourt as Edouard, Zahn McClarnon as Olrox, and Franka Potente as Erzsebet Báthory. Other notable actors include James Callis as Alucard Tepes, Richard Dormer as The Abbot, Iain Glen as Juste Belmont, Elarica Johnson as Drolta Tzuentes, and Aaron Neil as Mizrak. Powerhouse Animation is behind this project, with Sam Deats and Adam Deats directing.
