Looking forward to premiering an exclusive sneak peek of Lake George from Magnet Releasing’s upcoming crime thriller, featuring Emmy-nominated actress Carrie Coon (The Leftovers, The Gilded Age) and Shea Whigham (Boardwalk Empire). The movie will hit theaters and digital platforms this Friday, December 6.
In the movie’s summary, it is mentioned that Don is ordered by criminal associates to kill Phyllis. However, he can’t bring himself to do it and instead, they embark on a journey together which develops into something unexpected. Phyllis also has her own plans and suggests to Don that they collaborate: their objective would be to jointly rob the people who want her dead with the intention of taking all their money.

What happens in the Lake George clip?
In the video, we see Phyllis Coon being abducted by Don Whigham. Desperate to escape, Phyllis proposes a deal to Don: she offers him twice the amount of money he’d earn from killing her if he lets her go instead. The ensemble features Max Casella as Harout, Glenn Fleshler as Armen, Ashley Fink as Nadja, Troy Metcalf as Artie, Joey Oglesby as Nick, Derek Phillips as Cory, and Keri Safran as Gloria.
Lake George is a production helmed by Jeffrey Reiner, who serves both as the writer and director. The talented crew also includes cinematographer Tod Campbell and editor Brian Beal.
