The runtime for Captain America 4 has been revealed.
Set to debut in February 2025, “Captain America: Brave New World” marks the fourth installment in Marvel Studios’ Captain America series. In this movie, Anthony Mackie returns as Sam Wilson/Captain America, while Harrison Ford takes on the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolts” Ross, who becomes Red Hulk.
What is the runtime for Captain America 4?
According to AMC Theatres’ website, Captain America 4 has a runtime of one hour and 58 minutes.
Among the Captain America films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, none has been as succinctly crafted as the latest one I’ve just watched – Captain America: The First Avenger was 124 minutes long, followed by Captain America: The Winter Soldier at 136 minutes and Captain America: Civil War with a runtime of 147 minutes. Yet, Chris Evans, who played Steve Rogers/Captain America in all three, has managed to tell an engaging story in the shortest span.
Despite not being the briefest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe yet, the upcoming film “The Marvels” will run for 105 minutes when it releases in 2023.
In the storyline for the film, Anthony Mackie reprises his role as Sam Wilson, now officially the Captain America. The narrative goes that after meeting with the newly appointed U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, Sam becomes embroiled in a global predicament. He must unravel the mystery behind a sinister worldwide scheme before the hidden villain turns the world into chaos.
In addition to Mackie, Ford, and Danny Ramirez portraying Joaquin Torres/Falcon, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Giancarlo Esposito as Seth Voelker/Sidewinder, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, and others, this film is under the direction of Julius Onah. Known for his work on The Girl Is in Trouble (2015), The Cloverfield Paradox (2018), and Luce (2019), Onah helms this production.
In American movie theaters on Valentine’s Day 2025, audiences can look forward to watching Marvel’s Captain America: A Fresh Start, which is slated for release during Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
