Capcom Spotlight to reveal more details about Onimusha: Way of the Sword in February

Next week brings a significant presentation by Capcom, highlighting several updates for games already launched as well as those upcoming. The scheduled Capcom Spotlight in February will unveil fresh details and improvements for titles such as Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Street Fighter 6, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, Monster Hunter Wilds, and even Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, which has already been released.

This week, Capcom has announced via social media that they will be hosting a Capcom Spotlight event on February 4, 2025, at 2 p.m. PT on their YouTube channel. During this event, we can expect updates on Onimusha: Way of the Sword and Capcom Fighting Collection 2. This will mark one of the first times we’ve heard more about these games since they were initially announced. 2024 saw a thrilling surprise at Geoff Keighley’s The Game Awards with the announcement of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, due for release in 2026. Although we have to wait a while, we’re eagerly anticipating more updates from Capcom about this long-awaited revival of the popular melee horror series. We’re also intrigued as to why Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics appears on this list given that it has been available for sale for several months now.
