At the panel discussion held at the Bharath Pavilion, Pranitha was present. This gathering focused on Indian cinema expanding worldwide. For this occasion, she chose a graceful pink ensemble, featuring a satin skirt adorned with lace accents and a coordinating crop top embellished with embroidery and an overlay.

She accessorized the outfit with a Roberto Cavalli watch designed by Franck Muller. This timepiece boasts a captivating design inspired by serpents. Its band and casing are intricately shaped like snake scales. The dial is simple, featuring both the Roberto Cavalli logo and Franck Muller’s distinctive style. Typically, you can expect to spend anywhere from Rs 75,000 to almost Rs 1 lakh on this watch.

Who else attended Cannes 2025 from the Kannada film industry?

At the film festival, it wasn’t just Pranitha representing the Kannada film industry – actress Disha Madan was there too, showcasing her stylish side.

Disha Madan announced her excitement about making her debut on the Cannes red carpet through Instagram posts. She adorned herself in an intricately handwoven Kanchivaram saree, woven by master artisans around Chettinad. This elaborate piece took approximately 400 hours to create. The design of the saree was inspired by a vintage photograph from a 1950s wedding in Chettinad and was dyed with sacred vermilion red.

What set this apart was its borderless and harmonious flow, entirely enveloped in silk and gold. Disha complemented it with a personally tailored blouse adorned with embroidery. The blouse was painstakingly crafted by four artisans over 250 hours, boasting intricate designs of micro-zari, zardosi, and beads.

Disha posted a video from Cannes, saying “Here’s my special moment! I walked the red carpet at Cannes in a traditional Kanchivaram saree made of pure zari, skilfully hand-woven by master craftspeople for over 400 hours near Chettinad. This outfit is not just fashion, it’s a renaissance of beauty that was on the verge of fading away.
