As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt and countless hours clocked in the Call of Duty franchise, I must say that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta has been a rollercoaster ride of excitement! The increased level cap from 20 to 30 during this second weekend offers a tantalizing array of new rewards, some of which will be a part of the full game when it launches.
The ongoing beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s second weekend has begun, and along with it comes a fresh batch of rewards to accumulate during this limited timeframe.
What are the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta rewards?
Over the weekend, I was thrilled to learn about all the fresh details Treyarch unveiled on their official blog for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta! Amongst all the exciting updates, the most noteworthy change is raising the player level cap from 20 to 30. This expansion brings a slew of new perks, some of which will carry over when the full game drops. Here’s the rundown on the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta rewards and their respective unlock levels:
- Unlock Level 2: Animated Emblem – Beta Tester
- Unlock Level 6: Spray – Beta Tag
- Unlock Level 11: Emote – Quick Draw
- Unlock Level 20: Operator Skin – Squish (two variants)
- Unlock Level 23: Loading Screen – The Truth Lies
- Unlock Level 27: Animated Calling Card – Beta Expert
- Unlock Level 30: Blueprint – Bug Smasher
During the initial weekend of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta, it was possible to earn rewards from Level 2 to Level 20. However, the rewards for Levels 23 to 30 are exclusive to this weekend. Nonetheless, players have the opportunity to unlock all these rewards during the second weekend as well.
This weekend, you can explore fresh gear, special abilities triggered by scoring, bonus features, in-field upgrades, and weapons. However, contrary to the rewards from the previous beta testing phase, these items won’t be carried over to the main game at its release.
Furthermore, a lot of modifications and problem solutions have been implemented during this weekend’s beta testing. Speeds for weapon swaps and movement have been altered at different levels throughout the game. Weapon tweaks to the Jackal PDW, C9, and SWAT 5.56 have also received updates. The overall spawn mechanism has been fine-tuned. For a comprehensive look at all the changes, players can refer to the blog post.
During the second weekend of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta, a fresh 6v6 map called “Babylon” will make its debut.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta concludes on September 9, 2024. The full game is set to release on October 25, 2024, and can be played on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC. Additionally, it will be accessible through Xbox Game Pass from the very first day of its launch.
