Two well-known actors in the Tamil film industry, Suriya and Dhanush, have long been anticipated by fans to act together on screen. It appears that this desire may soon come true, as whispers indicate they might collaborate for a multi-star movie.
123Telugu reports that a thrilling movie project starring Suriya and Dhanush is under development. As per rumors, Venky Atluri, who recently achieved success with the Dulquer Salmaan film “Lucky Baskhar”, will likely take charge as director for this multi-star production.
The working title for this upcoming project is “Honest Raj,” featuring Dhanush as the main character. At present, specifics about Suriya’s character are not disclosed publicly. Rumors suggest that he may have a significant supporting role or even be the lead actor, but these reports are unconfirmed. We are waiting for an official announcement to learn more.
Moving forward, Dhanush has garnered attention with a fresh appearance in the promotional posters for his upcoming film titled Idly Kadai. In this movie, he will act alongside Nithya Menen. This project signifies his fourth directorial endeavor, having previously directed Pa Paandi, Raayan, and NEEK.

Now, here’s a twist – the release date for our movie, NEEK, formerly known as Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, has been adjusted due to a scheduling conflict with another big release, Vidaamuyarchi. Instead of its initial launch on February 7, 2025, we’ve decided to move the premiere for NEEK back to ensure a fair competition and box office experience.
Conversely, Suriya is ready for Karthik Subbaraj’s movie titled Retro. In this production, Pooja Hegde plays the female lead role. Apart from Suriya and Pooja, actors like Joju George, Jayaram, Nassar, Sujith Shankar, and others will also take on substantial roles in the film.
Earlier, there was a film named Kanguva featuring Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, and more. There was much excitement surrounding it before its premiere, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the anticipation at the movie theater.
