The altercation allegedly occurred when Rhymes physically attacked his 50-year-old assistant, Dashiel Gables, after the latter was using his phone during work. After the recent event, the rapper, whose birth name is Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr., willingly surrendered to the Brooklyn police on January 12th.
