Previously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, wrestler known as “Bully Ray” has spoken critically about both MJF and Hangman Page following their match at AEW Revolution. At this event, Hangman Page managed to secure victory over MJF in the opening bout, an impressive feat given that he was subjected to a fierce Tombstone Piledriver onto a chair. Once more, Bully Ray has expressed his thoughts on this duo.
In the match, it was believed that MJF would emerge victorious following a powerful move, but surprisingly, Page quickly regained strength, seized control, and ultimately finished the contest with a Buckshot Lariat. More recently, Bully Ray voiced his criticisms about the encounter on Busted Open, particularly the instance where Page miraculously kicked out of the damaging move and still claimed victory. He openly expressed his disappointment over how the bout unfolded.
He expressed that the show was enjoyable, but he won’t discuss Hangman Page and MJF. He adores MJF deeply, considering himself a huge fan of Max, both on a personal and professional level… however, he refuses to evaluate a match where a Tombstone Piledriver is performed on a chair, followed by the recipient getting back in the ring and winning. To him, it’s unjustified and contradicts his values in professional wrestling. [Source: WrestlingInc]
After the latest backstage skit on AEW Dynamite, Bully Ray made another jibe at MJF and Hangman Page by saying, with a hint of irony, that he is excited to witness their rise as stars, presumably in WWE.
Bully Ray reacts to AEW Dynamite segment of MJF & Hangman Page
In the most recent installment of AEW Dynamite, MJF and Hangman Page had a face-off following MJF’s interaction with MVP. During an interview by Renee Paquette with Hangman regarding his fight, MJF interjected the conversation.
Last weekend, Page was alleged to have attempted to ignite Maxwell and expose his true character. Yet, Maxwell refuted this allegation, asserting that he would persist in triumphs while Page grappled with advancing up the ladder. He cautioned that fans might grow weary of waiting for a significant victory by Page, as Maxwell would carry on amassing world titles and taunting him from his victorious position.
After the broadcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray commented on the segment (previously known as Twitter). In a sarcastic manner, he expressed his eagerness for MJF and Hangman to join WWE, so they could grasp “the proper techniques.
It appears that Bully Ray hasn’t shown enthusiasm for how All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is portraying the feud between MJF and Hangman Page. So far, neither MJF nor Page has addressed his recent comments.
