As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for automotive history and cinematic masterpieces, I eagerly await the upcoming Bugatti biopic. My fascination with luxury car brands has been ignited by Andrea Iervolino’s previous works on Ferrari and Lamborghini, and I am confident that this new venture will not disappoint.
Andrea Iervolino, who’s known for producing films such as Ferrari and Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend, has revealed that production on a film about the high-end automobile company, Bugatti, will begin soon. Ierovolino often oversees biopics centered around luxury car brands. In addition to this project, he’s also working on a biopic about Maserati, where he’s enlisted veteran actor Anthony Hopkins to play the role of an Italian financier. The movie is being directed by Bobby Moresco.
Bugatti biopic movie in development, will reportedly film next year
Under the direction of producer Andrea Ierovolino at The Andrea Iervolino Company, a film about Bugatti is scheduled for production.
As Deadline’s report indicates, the biopic will center around the life story of Ettore Bugatti, creator of the prestigious automobile brand that bears his name. Ettore established Bugatti in the city of Molsheim. Tragically, after Ettore’s son Jean passed away in 1939 and Ettore himself followed suit in 1947, the company encountered severe financial difficulties.
After being purchased by Italian entrepreneur Romano Artioli in 1987, Bugatti experienced a complete renaissance. Later on, in 1998, the automotive company fell under the ownership of the German car conglomerate, the Volkswagen Group.
Next year, the biopic will begin filming in Italy using an international cast. Nevertheless, producer Andrea Iervolino continues his search for skilled screenwriters to develop the script and a suitable director for this upcoming production. Notably, the film will be produced in English.
Concerning the upcoming Bugatti biopic, Andrea Iervolino expressed his excitement in a statement, “Following the triumph of our films about Lamborghini and Ferrari, I am ecstatic to present another legendary automotive brand on screen. The Bugatti film will pay tribute to the ardor and ingenuity that have symbolized one of the most renowned car manufacturers ever.
