Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, best known for her role in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” shared thoughts about her former co-star Michelle Trachtenberg. Trachtenberg portrayed Dawn Summers, Gellar’s on-screen sister, for three seasons. Sadly, Trachtenberg passed away at 39 years old three months ago, due to natural causes that resulted from complications with diabetes mellitus.

In a recent conversation, Gellar assured fans that the forthcoming Hulu revamp will undoubtedly tackle the gap left by Dawn Summers as a way of honoring Trachtenberg.
Absolutely, we’ve got a plan. We’ll take the right steps, Gellar mentioned. Additionally, long-time series cast member Alyson Hannigan voiced her trust in Gellar’s creative team for the Buffy revival. She’s certain they’ll approach it with great finesse.
Following the announcement of Michelle Trachtenberg’s passing being shared online, Geller uploaded a picture of Buffy and Dawn onto Instagram as a tribute. Her caption read: “Michelle, hear me out. Hear me. I adore you. I will always cherish you. The toughest part in this life is just living it. I will be courageous. I will live… for you.

The series will be penned and directed by dynamic duo Nora Zuckerman and Lila Zuckman, who are also stepping up as showrunners. The legendary Sarah Michelle Gellar will be back, returning to her iconic part in a recurring fashion.
