What is Brothers about?

The storyline presented in “Brothers” follows a former criminal (Josh Brolin), who endeavors to live an honest life. However, his plans are disrupted upon reconnecting with his unpredictable twin brother (Peter Dinklage) for a lucrative opportunity across the country. The duo faces numerous obstacles such as evading gunfire, law enforcement, and a domineering mother during their journey. Their ultimate goal is to mend their fractured familial bond before their animosity leads to each other’s demise.

Among Brolin, Dinklage, Paige from Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, Landon of Yellowstone, Fraser known for The Mummy, Close famous for 101 Dalmatians, and the late Walsh who appeared in Blade Runner, Brothers features a star-studded cast.

Max Barbakow is recognized for directing the 2020 film Palm Springs, which was streamed on Neon and Hulu, featuring Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti. Additionally, he created a 2013 documentary called “Mommy, I’m a Scoundrel!” in simpler terms.

As a gamer speaking about my movie-making escapades: In the realm of storytelling, I, the narrator, am sharing that the script for Brothers, penned by Macon Blair, was crafted – not to be mixed up with Ethan Coen. You might recognize Macon’s name from his directorial work in the upcoming Toxic Avenger remake. Interestingly enough, he also acted in a movie titled The Thicket, set for release in 2024, where you may have seen him alongside Dinklage.

In the production of the film, Brolin and Dinklage work together with Andrew Lazar and David Gonsberg. Meanwhile, Blair takes on the role of executive producer alongside Trish Stanard.

In selected U.S. cinemas, the film “Brothers” is set for release on October 10, 2024. From October 17, 2024, it can be streamed online on Amazon Prime Video.
