British Board Rates Suriya’s Retro: Bloody Violence & Twisted Plot Revealed!

Without a doubt, the upcoming film release featuring Suriya is one of the most eagerly awaited by fans, who are thoroughly thrilled about it. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, this movie marks Suriya’s comeback to action roles. The actor will sport an entirely fresh appearance, embodying a retro style that fits the era perfectly.

Before hitting the cinemas, the movie “Retro” has been evaluated by the British Board of Film Classification, as it’s scheduled to premiere in the UK too. Alongside the evaluation, they accidentally disclosed a segment of the film’s plot.

The official site of the UK Film Classification Board labels the movie “Retro” as containing intense bloody violence, strong language, and threatening content. Additionally, they provide a brief summary outlining the film’s plot.

In this Tamil-language action-thriller, a reformed ex-gangster is forced to abandon his peaceful lifestyle and engage in violence once more, as he battles his adversaries to safeguard his distant spouse.

For those unfamiliar, Suriya plays the main character in this film. Alongside him, Pooja Hegde takes on the role of the primary female lead. In addition to them, you’ll find Jayaram, Joju George, Karunakaran, Nassar, Prakash Raj, Sujith Shankar, Swasika, Singampulli, and others gracing the movie with their presence.

The movie is penned and helmed by Karthik Subbaraj, with production shared between 2D Entertainment and Stone Bench Creations. Santhosh Narayanan handles the film’s musical composition.

Retro’s premiere in theaters will coincide with the release of another high-profile movie, “HIT: The Third Case,” helmed by director Sailesh Kolanu and featuring actor Nani.
