The Philippos are teaming up with A24 once more for “Bring Her Back,” and they’ve recruited Sarah Hawkins to take on the lead role in the film.

Sally Hawkins often appears in various film genres; she’s famously cast in movies like Guillermo Del Toro’s The Shape of Water and Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters. However, she’s most recognized for her captivating performances in dramatic films such as Spencer, Submarine, An Education, and Happy-Go-Lucky.

What do we know about Bring her Back?

In addition to Billy Barratt known for “My Spy: The Eternal City”, the cast includes Jonah Wren Phillips, Sally-Anne Upton, Stephen Phillips from “Subject”, and Sora Wong in this movie.

As someone who has always been fascinated by the gritty and intense world of underground deathmatch wrestling, I find it particularly intriguing that the Philippous are expanding their film portfolio with a new project titled “Bring Her Back.” Although the plot remains shrouded in mystery, I can’t help but feel excited about what this film might bring to the table.

As a seasoned movie enthusiast who has watched numerous films produced by various creators, I must say that the team behind this upcoming project truly stands out to me. The fact that it is being produced by Samantha Jennings (Cargo) and Kristina Ceyton (The Babadook) instantly caught my attention. Their past works have shown a keen eye for storytelling and a knack for creating engaging, thought-provoking films.

In 2023, “Talk to Me” was one of the year’s most acclaimed horror movies, showcasing an exceptional acting job by lead actress Sophie Wilde. The Filippo brothers, Australian-born directors, made a strong debut in the genre with this film, garnering attention as promising new talents.
