Bridgerton Season 4 Finds Its Newest Female Lead

As a dedicated Bridgerton fan who has binge-watched every season multiple times, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the casting of Yerin Ha as Sophie Beckett for Season 4! With her outstanding performances in Halo and Bad Behaviour, it’s clear that Ha possesses the charm, wit, and grace needed to bring this beloved character to life.

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve learned Netflix has cast Australian actress Yerin Ha for the coveted role of Sophie Beckett in the upcoming season 4 of Bridgerton, following Julia Quinn’s 2001 novel An Offer From a Gentleman. Can’t wait to see her bring this character to life!

In the upcoming season of the popular romance drama, Ha will be sharing screen time with Benedict, who has taken over as the main character from Phoebe Dynevor (Daphne Bridgerton, Season 1), Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton, Season 2), and Luke Newton (Colin Bridgerton, Season 3). Ha’s recent television appearances include the Paramount+ series Halo and Stan’s four-part drama Bad Behaviour.

What is Bridgerton Season 4 about?

Even though his older and younger brothers are contentedly married, Benedict shows no inclination towards settling down – that is, until he encounters an alluring Lady at his mother’s masquerade ball.

According to Quinn’s popular book series, the show is overseen by Shonda Rhimes and head writer Jess Brownell as executive producers. The cast includes Nicola Coughlan portraying Penelope, Luke Newton as Colin, Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte, Jonathan Bailey as Anthony, Claudia Jessie as Eloise, Hannah Dodd as Francesca, Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet Bridgerton, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Polly Walker as Lady Portia Featherington, Bessie Carter as Prudence, Simone Ashley as Kate, Florence Hunt as Hyacinth, Will Tilston as Gregory, Harriet Cains as Philippa, and Jessica Madsen as Cressida Cowper. Additionally, Julie Andrews voices Lady Whistledown in this series.
