Netflix has released the official trailer for the upcoming mystery thriller titled “Brick,” starring Matthias Schweighöfer and Ruby O. Fee from Army of Thieves. This film will be available for streaming starting on July 10, 2025.

What happens in the Brick trailer?
In the video, Schweighöfer and Fee are portrayed as a couple on the verge of splitting up. However, an unexpected turn of events occurs when a peculiar brick wall suddenly blocks their door and windows, trapping everyone living in their apartment building, including them.
The movie “Brick” is helmed by German director Philip Koch (known for “Tribes of Europa” and “Sixty Minutes”). This suspenseful thriller features performances from Frederick Lau, Salber Lee Williams, Murathan Muslu, Axel Werner, Sira-Anna Faal, and Alexander Beyer. The film is a collaborative effort between Koch, Quirin Berg, Max Wiedemann, Benjamin Munz, and Katrin Goetter. The artistic team includes cinematographer Alexander Fischerkoesen, editor Hans Horn, and composer Anna Drubich. “Brick” is a production of Nocturna Productios and Wiedemann & Berg.
In the movie’s summary, we find Tim (Schweighöfer) and Olivia (Fee) waking up to discover an unexplained, impenetrable, futuristic wall surrounding their apartment overnight, and they are not the only ones trapped. The entire building appears to be enclosed, leaving them wondering about the events of the previous night. Who constructed this wall and for what purpose? With no hope of external aid, they need to unite to find a means of escape. Can they decipher the mystery of the wall in time and make it through alive?
