As a diehard fan, I can’t help but feel a little uneasy with all these mishaps. Can’t wait to see how it turns out, though!
Once more, production on the movie halted following an incident at the Mani reservoir in Karnataka, where the actor and around thirty crew members barely avoided an accident.
Rishab Shetty narrowly escapes as their boat topples during Kantara Chapter 1 shoot
As per a report from NDTV, it appears that a boat carrying actor Rishab Shetty and 30 other team members from the film Kantara Chapter 1 has overturned and sunk in the shallower parts of the Mani reservoir.
The exact reason for the boating accident remains unknown at this time, but fortunately everyone on board, including Rishab, managed to avoid harm and escape unscathed. Unfortunately, however, the incident resulted in the destruction of valuable filming equipment, such as crucial cameras, which are now irrecoverably submerged underwater.
Police investigation was issued after a boat mishap on Kantara Chapter 1 sets
Immediately following the occurrence, information was promptly shared with the Thirthahalli police station about the situation, who subsequently arrived at the scene to evaluate the extent of the damage in a timely manner. An investigation is currently ongoing to determine the full impact of the incident.
According to a report by PTI, a senior crew member from the filming location of Kantara Chapter 1 stated that there was widespread panic when the boat overturned in the reservoir. Fortunately, due to the relatively shallow depth of the water, everyone managed to escape and reach the shore unscathed without sustaining any injuries.
Kantara Chapter 1 makers dismissed postponement rumors
There’s been a lot of talk for quite some time now that the movie was going to be delayed beyond its initial release date of October 2nd. This chatter has grown louder as the filmmakers haven’t given any fresh news.
To be completely honest, I had my heart racing with worry that the release of our beloved movie might be delayed. But time and again, the creators reassured us that everything was on track, and there wouldn’t be any hiccups in its planned premiere date.
