The streaming platform Apple TV+ has unveiled the release date for its upcoming sci-fi drama series called “Pluribus”, created by Vince Gilligan, who is best known for creating “Breaking Bad”. This announcement marks Gilligan’s return to television after a hiatus of nearly three years since the conclusion of “Better Call Saul”. Furthermore, Apple TV+ has also released its first promotional trailer, showcasing a woman mysteriously licking a pile of donuts intended for distribution.
In the opening description, we find that the story revolves around an individual who is the most wretched on our planet, tasked with the mission of preserving the world from becoming too joyful.

When is the Breaking Bad creator’s new show out?
On November 7, 2025, Pluribus is set to launch with the initial two episodes. Subsequently, fresh episodes will be released every Friday until December 26. Prior to its first episode airing, the series has already secured a pre-emptive renewal for Season 2.
The nine-episode series brings back Gilligan along with Rhea Seehorn from Better Call Saul, who will be playing the main character of Carol. For her exceptional work in the critically-acclaimed Breaking Bad spin-off, Seehorn received two Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Alongside her are Karolina Wydra (from Sneaky Pete) and Carlos Manuel Vesga (The Hijacking of Flight 601), with Miriam Shor (American Fiction) and Samba Schutte (Our Flag Means Death) appearing as special guests. The series is overseen by Gilligan, Gordon Smith, Alison Tatlock, Diane Mercer, Allyce Ozarski, Jeff Frost, Jenn Carroll, and Trina Siopy. It is a creation by Sony Pictures Television.
