That’s why I can’t afford to spend my time because the admiration and stardom I enjoy here are immense, so I never seriously considered leaving this industry for another.

Several people found his statement on Bollywood offensive by his statement. Nonetheless, the actor clarified his stance while interacting with the media a few days after making the statement.

Mahesh Babu expressed that it has always been his goal to be part of Telugu cinema. Additionally, he shared that he never considered moving to Bollywood because he wanted Telugu movies to thrive globally. He stated, “I firmly believe we shouldn’t abandon our own industry for another one; I’m delighted to see our films gaining popularity in North India.

When questioned about potential appearances in Bollywood once more, Mahesh Babu provided a thoughtful reply. He expressed that it wasn’t necessary for him to act in Hindi films, and instead, he could simply star in a Telugu production, reaching audiences globally.

Currently on the job side, Mahesh Babu has begun gearing up for his character in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film, tentatively titled SSMB29. As per recent news, this movie is set to have an international scope. Furthermore, there are indications that PS Vinod could join the project as a cinematographer.
