During a conversation with Soap Opera Digest, Clifton expressed his shock when he found out his character would be involved in a shooting incident. He added, “It was quite unexpected, even for me. However, it was thrilling and enjoyable to perform, and they handled it exceptionally well on the show.

Clifton expressed his perspective on the perilous situation facing Liam. He explained that due to the imminent danger Luna posed to Steffy, he felt compelled to intervene to protect everyone. “You see, Luna is a clear and present danger to Steffy. She’s already shot Sheila, she’s aiming her gun at Steffy, and Luna has just fired at Liam! This means that not only does Liam have a brain tumor, but he’s also been shot in the abdomen and is likely experiencing shock. His top priority is ensuring Steffy’s safety. That’s always been his goal: to keep Steffy and all the children safe from Luna.

The individual shared that Liam had understood the gravity of his brain tumor. He was cognizant of the fact that his life could end suddenly. Furthermore, he recognized that following his demise, Steffy would potentially be in danger as well. Essentially, the impending danger for Steffy became more urgent with each passing moment, given Liam’s precarious condition and the limited options available to save her if he were no longer alive.

Following the gunfire incident, Steffy promptly summoned an ambulance, ensuring Liam received immediate medical care.
