The second-generation BMW M2’s racing version, known as M2 Racing, is all about motorsport, abandoning street legality. It boasts a 2L turbocharged inline-four engine that generates 308 horsepower and 309 lb-ft of torque, coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission fine-tuned for racing. To enhance its performance on the track, BMW installs a mechanical limited-slip differential and custom driveshaft, providing it with precise, balanced handling.

This vehicle boasts a FIA-approved roll cage, Sabelt competition seat, fire extinguishing system, and a lightweight carbon fiber roof. Additional race enhancements feature KW motorsport suspension, Goodyear racing tires, quick-release removable body parts, air lifts, and data logging capabilities.
